For those who have stumbled upon this. I have a business called Time To Create with an online store and a studio. My satisfaction comes from experimenting and then sharing the ideas.
Are there any other crafters out there who like to do the same?
I am thinking that the idea of this challenge blog will be to share techniques and ideas we have developed. We can share these through three/four easy avenues:
1. Our own Blogs
2. A flickr Group that I will happily set up.
3. A Pinterest page that we would be able to access and add to.
4. Is a Facebook Page to facilitate conversation a setup that would work?
I am thinking that there will be no prizes. To me the joy is in the journey, the learning and the knowledge we will then have to apply to our crafting.
I am thinking this will be a calendar month challenge. I am thinking, I would ( to start with) put up a tutorial.
Then we would all run with it. I am thinking that other interested artists could be guest designers sometimes.
To grow as a group it is important that we visit each other and dare I say offer real feedback - sometimes even contstructive criticism. It would be wonderful if we got artist conversations going. I would love to see where ideas get taken and get changed and developed by participants. Is there a limit to the craft or creation that you come up with??? NO!!!
Now I don't know about you but I am too busy for negativity and so I see this as an opportunity to truly share. Keeping this in mind if you use someone else's design or idea you acknowledge it - you link to them and truly spread the love.
